These mylar bags are generally used for long term food storage with a heat sealer for freezing, or storing dried goods such as grains, pasta, nuts, seeds, etc, inside of a 5 gallon bucket. These bags can also substitute for vacuum sealer bags and can be used to store anything from a standard sized pillow, clothes, diy ice packs, etc. To help seal air and moisture out, a vacuum and oxygen absorbers are used, Sold Separately. Better quality than regular vacuum seal bags, these do not include a zip lock mechanism. A heat sealer is needed but a clothing iron will work just fine to seal the bags. NO TRY ON's !!!
