Hex Coupling Nuts are defined by their elongated hexagonal shape and used to connect two pieces of threaded material at opposite ends. A coupling nut has a sight hole which allows visual verifications that the threads are fully engaged. Threaded Rod Couplers are made to be highly enduring and able to suit the wide variety of applications they are commonly used for. Coupling nuts are used to make up long rod assemblies from shorter lengths of rods. Rod Coupling Nuts are internally threaded nuts in extended lengths. Used with threaded rod, the coupling nut joins 2 pieces of threaded rod together from opposing ends for hanging various items either vertically or horizontally. Generally, hand tightened. Available in various diameters and lengths.
