Vintage 1950s Shafford Redware black cat teapot. He's wearing a cute red bow tie and his front paws function as the spout and tail curls up into the handle. Super cute little guy.
In really excellent condition, Minimal and very minor areas that the paint has come off, on the bow tie collar, and front claws at pour spout. Please see photos. Aside from that he's like new, gloss is high luster, clean inside and out, no chips or cracks. For 70-ish years old this kitty cat looks amazing!
