Vintage 1980's Set of 3 Beatrix Potter paper scenes on wood composite plaques suitable for hanging in a child's room or with a Beatrix Potter collection. Excellent vintage condition. One scene (squirrels) bears a small brown line in lower left hand corner. This appears to be a defect in manufacturing. Two of the plaques (squirrel scene and rabbit street scene) measure 4" X 5" X 3/8" while the third (mouse raiding the rice canister) measures 4-1/2" X 3-3/4" X 3/8". Each of the plaques have a recessed hole for hanging and a label on the back (see last photo). The label reads " 20th Century Miniatures Scenes from the books by Beatrix Potter" "Wipe with a clean damp cloth" "Heat resistant" Each bears a copyright of "Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd.". Clean, climate controlled and smoke-free home. Set of 3 plaques weighs 9 oz. and will ship by USPS First Class Package securely packed inside a sturdy shipping box.
