This traditional woven tapestry features South Asian/Indian motifs including Elephants, palm trees, camels, lions, men in turbans, 8-pointed centered star and more. It has a flatweave jacquard style, probably with a silk or viscose blend to give it some sheen. The entire piece has a fringed edge. The colors are quite bold with a beige base with purple, red blue and green colors. It measures about 43x53 inches.
It's size and construction would make a great wall tapestry or throw blanket. No tags to indicate the maker or origin.
